Our Minot Mini-Vacation

MINOT.... Here we come!
Look... our hotel had a horse in the lobby...
...and it was connected to the mall....
...and this old car was parked in the hallway! How cool is that?
Here we are BEFORE our refreshing swim...
...and here we are AFTER mom and dad finally convinced us that we were wrinkled enough....
On Sunday we went to the Roosevelt Park Zoo... by far the best zoo in ND!

Look... another horse... or is it a giraffe.. or a zebra?
These were a few of our favorite animal attractions...

Yes, Grandma Karen.... Sad to say, but North Dakota is even cold enough for penguins!
Hmmm... Dad says, "Let's take a vote... which way should we go next?
Mom's highlight of her day was when the sun FINALLY decided to shine! What a picture perfect day at the zoo!

Kindergarten Zoo Fieldtrip!

Adrian's Kindergarten Class, along with Mommy's class took a fieldtrip to the Red River Zoo on Friday, May 9th. Daddy even go to attend as a chaperone, which Adrian was so proud of!

Check out the blue tongued skink... (YES, his tongue really was blue!)

"Hey Dad! Check this out!"
This is as close as we get to Tigers at the Red River Zoo! :)
"If only I could fit this horse in my back yard...
I could really play cowboys then!"
What a great, memorable day for Dad, Mom, and Adrian!

Howdy Ya'll!!

Yee-Haw! Howdy Ya'll!!! I just love my new cowgirl outfit mommy bought me this weekend. I may not look so rough and tough, but if mommy happens to find me a new pair of pink cowboy boots, I will definately be able to keep up with all the other rough, ropin cowboys that live at my house! See ya'll later! Love, Jayden

Youth Track Meet

Adrian and Kameron participated in their first track meet ever on Saturday morning. There were over 150 participants from grades Pre-5 that participated. It was a cool morning, but the sun did decide to shine down and it turned out to be a very nice day!

"ANT"SY for Summer!

Adrian loves Kindergarten...but as this bulletin board states, he is also getting ANTSY for Summer Vacation. (So is his Mommy) This is their countdown to summer. Each day they take down one ant to show there is one less day of school! The kids are really having fun with it!
