Believe it or Not?

YES, hard to believe but these two little blessings of ours are now five, and just about four. Where does the time go? Better question.... why do they have to grow up so quickly? It makes me happy and sad at the same time. I am sad because my little baby girls aren't so little anymore. I am happy to see how mature they have become (most days) and how well they are now doing at Sunday School, dance, gymastics, T-Ball, and all their other activities they have been involved with! It brings me great joy to see that they are happy.... (almost always happy) and they certainly have touched many lives....since the day we brought them into our lives, in which I am forever grateful!

I am also grateful for Daddy's new camera which took these four and five year pictures without having to drive to Fargo, pay a sitting fee, and then having to order pictures on the spot with 5 less than patient customers begging to leave the studio! Thank-You Daddy! You did a great job!

Camp Wixo

Well our lil' camper friend, Paige, turned four in style with an all out "Camp Wixo" B-Day Party Bash. We had a "splashing" good time at Camp, and as you can see by the following pictures, no other summer camp in the world will live up to the fun we had a "Camp Wixo".

We got to explore with a real lantern, and take cover in a real tent set up in the family room!

What a great catch! Good thing the fish were biting! It always makes for a more enjoyable time, right?

We had to check out princess Paige's beautiful canopy on her bed.

and her lil' brother Parker's room was a huge hit as well!

There was a picnic style supper served, complete with BUG juice....

along with a BUG hunt to follow!

There was even horseback riding, which was Jack's favorite....

and B-Day cake to wrap up the wonderful evening!

Brotherly Love

Well after several different suggestions on what he should bring to school for his show and tell day, Kameron decided that he was going to bring BIG brother to his classroom. After all, Adrian brought little brother for show and tell in Kindergarten, First Grade, and even Second Grade already. That kind of Brotherly Love is hard to come by some days, but it is sure nice to see! =) I am so proud of these two boys..... and how grown up they both have become!
After show and tell was over Kameron thanked Adrian. In return Adrian gave Kameron a hug and a kiss on the forehead and told him to "Have a good day!" before heading back to class.

Camera Trouble

Okay so NO I haven't fallen off the planet, however I am just having camera trouble.... therefore the lack of blogging. I have been catching grief among some family and friends about NOT blogging for so long, so here goes.


Here is my latest camera that I received as a gift from my wonderful husband last fall. It was a wonderful compact lil' touch screen, point and shoot camera that I loved.... until now. It was so compact that I found myself placing it in my winter coat pocket so that it went everywhere I went. Well a couple weeks back, when I went to remove it from my coat pocket to capture the kiddos, I found it on with the lens zoom up and diagonal instead of straight like it is now. I was able to align it better and then recharged the battery, only to find NO LUCK.... it's totally shot.... YES lesson learned!

So.... I resort to my next oldest camera above only to find that it is no longer in working condition either. When it was originally retired it still took perfectly good pictures, but I was afraid to use it because of the cracked screen! In the pic above you will see the crack on my camera screen, and also the photo of Kameron on our huge hill of snow in our front yard saying, "Take a picture of me Mom!" Yep... that is the best pic that it will take now a days... Pretty sad for a mommy who needs to capture it ALL! Hopefully Daddy will come through for me again!
In the mean time, I will just have to use my oldest camera that I used to use only for kindergarten, however I better take stock in Duracell or Energizer, because unlike the above two camera's this one takes AA batteries, and it's not nearly as compact. Yikes! Wish me luck!
