As Bad As it Looks?

The crest was just raised last night from 41 feet up to 42 feet, and it may be as high as 43 feet. Keep those prayers coming! Thanks to ALL the family and friends who have also checked in on us. I can ensure you that at this point we are safe and sound, but feeling a bit helpless... wishing we could help out more. This morning the kids and I did go up to "Mommy's" school to help the Red Cross set up an emergency evacuation center. The tables and chairs in my kindergarten classroom have been replaced with cots, and now school is out of session until further notice. The small town of Casselton had 509 volunteers show up before the first evacuees even showed up! That's just one more reason we just LOVE this community!

Happy B-Day Daddy!

Well, although Daddy was in Florida for his B-Day this year, we still wanted to make sure that he had a wonderful day! Here are some pictures that Mommy took earlier this month when we celebrated Daddy's B-Day early, complete with Red Baron pizza, pop, and (make your own) banana splits! It was a blast! Can it Be? Kierra is Three?

Mommy and kiddos watching and waiting for our designated party time to start, and for our guests to arrive.

Five Year Old Perspective

Hard to believe that my little Kameron is going to school tomorrow for his Kindergarten Screening! What's even harder to believe is that he's also gonna turn 6 in June! The interview below was a forward I received, and I thought... the timing is perfect... and since we have nothing better to do on our snow day we took the time for the interview!

"When I make my brothers/sisters happy."

" When Daddy leaves."

"play with us"
