Vacation Bible School

High Seas Expedition VBS
"Captain" Pastor Jackie leading the kids in worship, songs, and prayer!
(80 children participated in VBS and there were 35 teen and adult helpers)
Our crew (Ebertowskis and Parkers...minus one) on deck!
Our whole crew on deck the first day of VBS!

This was the day Mommy left one crying Jaxon at his preschool table, but when I returned to pick him up he didn't want to leave. Day two when I dropped off, they didn't even want me to walk them in the church! :( This kind of made me sad at first, but what a GREAT feeling that they were so excited to return for more Bible School FUN!

The girls with their little brother, Carter!
"Anchors Aweigh"
The final day of VBS the kids put on a program for parents and grandparents to show off all the cool things they learned and the kids shared some of their songs with us as well. A picnic lunch for family and friends concluded the awesome week! The kids had a BLAST this week, and can't wait til they can return next year for another week of FUN learning about God's word! THANKS to all who made this VBS program such a HUGE success! Job Well Done!

Sprinkler Fun!

It is so nice to finally be able to enjoy summer a little bit now that the weather has decided to cooperate! The kids had a blast cooling off while playing in their crazy sprinkler. Now once the outdoor pool finally opens... it will REALLY feel like summer!

Picnic in the Park

Well Mommy didn't get any pictures while we were eating our picnic lunch because she was too busy keeping our food from blowing away with the ND wind. She did however, snap these two photos of us with our good friends before leaving the park. Mommy sure LOVES having her summers off with us so that we can do fun things together. This picnic kicks off the beginning of all the summer FUN that is in store for us! Stay tuned for more!

Our Favorite Graduates x 3

Hard to believe that the Swanson triplets have now graduated high school. We helped them celebrate by attending their open house at the golf course. Thanks for being such sweet, kind, and caring young adults! Good Luck as you begin a new chapter in your life! I have confidence in all of you that you will be very successful in your college adventures! Be sure to stop back and visit us, or c'mon over to babysit anytime! The Parker kids surely would LOVE that! Their Mommy would too! ;) Congratulations once again Matthew, Kelsey, and Lyndsey!

Until Next Time!

Waving good-bye to Daddy until next time! Missing you already! :( Love you!

Friday Night 5K
Mommy's 1st 5K ever - 45:51

Saturday 10K and Marathon
Sorry Daddy that we didn't make it out to cheer you on during your 10K, but the rain and kids who wanted to sleep in until almost 9:00 prevented that! We were certainly cheering you on from home instead! :)
Here we were cheering Daddy on at Mile 12 and 15
Here he is at Mile 20.... still smiling!
and here he is about to cross the FINISH line at 4 hours and 4 minutes! WAY TO GO DADDY! We are all so PROUD of you!
Love, Your Biggest Fans!

Curls are Back!

Mommy sure is trying hard to figure out this whole ethnic hair business, and believe me she says it's not as easy as it may look. She has always said that I have a very thick head of hair, curly hair at that. Since I first started growing my hair out, Mommy has spent more time, and has put more product in my hair than her own. Well, after my second relaxer last December, Mommy noticed that the product did more damage to my curls than she originally thought, therefore we decided to resort back to the new growth, which is.... you guessed it, CURLS!

Since Mommy wasn't too sure of this dramatic change, Daddy took me to Auntie Teresa's to cut 6 inches off. If I had my way it would have been even a shorter, handsome haircut like my big brother Kameron. I love my new haircut, and that is all that really matters. No more pulling and tugging to get through my hair, and no more ponytails for me! Thanks Auntie! I LOVE IT!

Pirate Kameron's Backyard Birthday Bash!

Pirate Daddy with his Pirate Kids!

Mommy said "NO WAY" can there be 7 candles on Kameron's cake already!
Time for Presents!
My babysitter, Megan, came to lend a hand... and celebrate with me too! Thanks Megan!

ARGGGHHHHH!!!!

Thank You family and friends, for helping to make my 7th B-Day celebration so special!

Love,
Kameron

Youth Track Meet

Well, since Mommy's motto is, "IF YOU HAD FUN, YOU WON!" we were all winners today in the Casselton Youth Track Meet. The oldest three participated in the Long Jump, Softball Throw, and the 100 Meter Dash. The youngest two participated by cheering on big brothers and sister, blowing bubbles, using color wonder markers, playing catch with their T-Ball, and going for wagon rides. It was a beautiful day for a picnic in the football field of the center track as well. As you can see above, Adrian placed 7th and Jayden placed 8th in the 100 Meter Dash. Not too bad at all for Jayden's first track meet ever. Kameron did great too, and although he was bummed that his name didn't get called, he told Daddy he's gonna try harder next year! Big brother who could sense some sadness in little brother, offered Kameron his 7th place ribbon to cheer him up a bit. GREAT attitude of both boys if you ask me! Looking back, it was a great day! Thank You Grandma for coming out to help cheer us on!
