Santa.... Please take a close look at what we DON'T need this holiday season! We love them ALL dearly, and many of them are very special keepsakes, but Mommy and Daddy say that we may just need a bigger house if we get any more stuffed animals! These are just our holiday ones!!!
Keiley-Shai's Singing Snowman (Jayden) - from G'ma Peggy - Christmas 2000
Adrian's Singing Gingerbread Man - from G'ma Karen - Christmas 2002
Kameron's Grinch - from Santa Claus - Christmas 2006
Jaxon's Classic Pooh Santa - from his god-mother, Laura - Christmas 2007
Kierra's Polar Bear Beanie Baby ???
Sorry... just too many to keep track of!
After hot chocolate, I was doing the dishes, while the kids were supposed to be brushing their teeth, when Jim caught my attention to show me this! Jaxon laying in "awe" of the beautiful Christmas tree! He got bored halfway through the decorating and took out ALL of his little people to play with. I think this was his first look at the "finished" product, and now that he is one year older, he has a much bigger appreciation for the little things in life, including a decorated Christmas tree!

Dear Great G'ma Lois,
We know the "rule" about having to eat Thanksgiving Turkey before setting up the Christmas Tree, but this year we just couldn't wait any longer! After all, the radio stations started playing Christmas music on November 1st, and Christmas displays have been up in the stores for a good month, or two already! Please forgive us for breaking your rule!
We know how much you truly loved the Christmas holiday, more than ANY one we know. We wish that we could celebrate the holidays with you once again, but can't even begin to imagine what Christmas must be like for you in heaven! It must be pretty awesome! Just know how much we love and miss you each and every day; especially at Christmas time!!!
Although we did set up the tree early, we did it right, with our traditional Santa hats, Christmas music playing in the background, and hot chocolate/cider afterwards. G'ma Ardy also let us frost and decorate cut out Christmas cookies yesterday at her house, and today she and Brooke also made lefse! Mommy also made us orange danish rolls like you used to make (they weren't nearly as good as yours though). We sure are working hard to carry on your traditions that you taught us all so well. We love you "Great" G'ma!
