Kierra's 4th Birthday Party

Thank You to everyone for joining me to celebrate my 4th B-Day at the Pizza Ranch. Pizza, Puzzles, Balloons, Quarters, Minnie Mouse, Games, Cake, Ice Cream, Presents, Family, and Friends pretty much sums up my day! Thank You for making it extra special! :) Love, Kierra

Jack Sand's Assistant

The entertainment at the Blue and Gold Banquet this year was the Jack Sand's magic show. Now this is not just ANY magic show, but a magic show that I remember watching myself as a child. It was extra special to watch it with my own children. When Jack Sand needed a 5 year old volunteer from his audience, Jayden raised her hand proudly and was called to be his assistant. His act began when he placed a pink and blut handkerchief in her pocket. He then placed a brightly colored handkerchief bird into his hat and asked Jayden to pull it out of the hat. When she reached in the hat it was empty. After trying to remove the bird from the hat three times unsuccessfully, Jack Sand pulled out the two handkerchiefs that were in her pocket, only to have the bird tied in between the two. The look on her face was priceless! :)

Blue and Gold Banquet

The Boy Scouts Blue and Gold banquet was held this past week at the City Hall, and our young Wolve Cub earned his badges and beads for completing this year's requirements.
Way to Go Adrian. We are so proud of you!

Excitement over GREEN

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2010!

Today was filled with much excitment in the Parker household, as memories from last year's leprechaun visit flashed throughtout their heads. Oh how could they let me forget? They were just SURE that the leprechaun would come back again this year. Sure enough, when we returned home from school/daycare it was evident that those troublesome lil' green visitors made themselves a huge mess throughout our house. The kids' rooms were all a mess and he turned our milk green, along with the water in the bathroom sink. Next time you see one of the Parker children be sure to ask about the leprechaun visit to our house. You will relive the excitment all over again. It seems a little crazy but I must admit they were more excited over St. Patrick's day than even Christmas this year. ????? YES hard to believe, I know!

Our Little Girl!

Today was a bittersweet day in the Parker household, as our baby girl grew out of toddler hood into a preschooler. :( YES, after I picked her up from Kim's house, we headed to dance where all the other dancers were wearing their leotards and tutus, but not Kierra. No, she was wearing her new B-Day dress because mommy doesn't often let her "dress-up" for daycare. You see if she wears her birthday dress people will know it's a special day for Kierra..... and Miss Kayla did just that... she noticed first thing!

Well after dance Mommy and Kierra had a big job to do, (make supper together)... you see in the Parker house when it's your B-Day you get to create the menu. Kierra decided on Mac and Cheese, Corndogs, Corn, and Clementine Oranges. After putting the corndogs in the oven, Kierra snuck off to play. I found her moments later curled up on the couch "reading" a book. She said, "Look Mom... I can read now, because I'm FOUR!" Oh boy, I thought.... what else will she suddenly be able to do now that she's four? I will surely have to remember that line, and it may even come back to her someday. Well after a good laugh, a hug, and a little snuggle time while Jayden was at dance, and the boys were off playing, I still realized that although our little girl may be growing up, she will always find the time to snuggle and offer XOXOXOXOXO's....because after all.... "She is still OUR lil' girl!"

Happy 4th B-Day Kierra Jo! WE LOVE YOU!

Jayden's NEW room

Well here it is.... Jayden's just about finished NEW room. Well, it's not really new to her, since she has been sleeping in it for almost a year already, however we finally painted it to fit her personality. The two solid walls are bubble gum pink and then of course the striped wall (compliments by our babysitter, Megan) to match her quilt and rug that SANTA brought her for Christmas! Other than that it is about complete, minus the closet which will be another project in itself. Wish me luck!

Basketball Boy

Adrian's new found hobby and interest is now basketball, after two months of learning the fundamentals and scrimmaging on Sunday afternoons with some of his second grade friends. He has really learned a lot, and has shown much more interest in the sport, playing it inside my house, asking to go to the CC games, and of course watching all 3 Class B girls tournament games with me. Way to go Adrian! Glad you found something else that you really love! :)
