Dora Hair!

I must say, Mommy would have never thought to straighten ALL those curls herself, but Friday after a trim from my hair stylist, Aunt Teresa, she asked mommy if she had ever thought about using a straight iron on my hair. Mommy proceeded to tell her no and that she didn't think I would sit still that long to see... BOY did I prove her wrong. I just loved my new look.... and enjoyed having "Dora" Hair until bathtime. When I looked in the mirror after bathtime, all I could say was Bye Bye Dora Hair!

Backyard Pool Party

Here we are getting ready for our first backyard pool party of the summer!

The water is still a little cool, but refreshing!

Trying to convince Jaxon that it is really okay for him to join us in the fun!

Take a look at the new pool deck Daddy built for our pool.... with a detachable ladder for safety! We sure like it! THANK YOU and GREAT job Daddy!

Meet Dora the Explorer

Waiting patiently to meet Dora the Explorer

Jayden shares a hug with Dora!

Finally our turn! Although Kierra absolutely LOVES to watch Dora, she wasn't too impressed with being so close to her.
Bye-Bye Dora! "I Love You"
Gretta, Olivia, and Josie meet Dora next!
Look Mom.... I can play cowboy!
Kierra wants a turn too!
"I'm not sure about all these crazy people in costumes around here, but these animal crackers sure are good!
A moment with Hawkeye! (The other kids were too scared to join this picture~!)

Lil' Ones at Home with Mommy

RAINY DAY FUN
After washing some bedding, mommy hung sheets and blankets outside to dry, just in time for some rain clouds to move in. When I brought the last one in and hung it over two chairs to finish drying, my lil' darlings thought I built them a fort. They moved into their new "house" in no time, and lived there for almost an hour!

MAN of the House!
Well, since Daddy isn't here, I guess I better get out and mow that lawn... in between rain showers. You know it sure isn't going to mow itself, so here goes nothing.

I think I've had enough of this!
Now this is more like it! You're welcome Daddy!

Potty Training 101
We continued to work on potty training the entire time Daddy and the boys were gone, and Mommy is proud to say that Jaxon is now 100% potty trained, EVEN at night time! Way to Go Jack! Kierra is close behind, doing wonderful all day long, and wakes up dry much of the time too! I am so proud of you both! Keep up the good work! This is what worked for us! by Kierra and Jack
Mommy bought us a new potty chair that has toilet paper, flushes, and plays music/sings when we go potty. It makes learning to use the bathroom a whole lot more fun!

We spent a lot of time reading books.... for boys!

.... and girls!
Watched the Elmo Potty video... a time or two!
and if Elmo can do it, SO CAN WE!
Finally... the best part.... Mommy gave us 1 -2 M&M's every time we went potty! Hurray!
