First time on a Harley!

..... well maybe not Megan's first time on a Harley, but surely it was for the Parker kids! By the looks of it, it won't be the last!

This past week we finally got to meet Megan's boyfriend, Jordan, who was up visiting from Texas. After helping Megan babysit a couple times earlier in the week, Jordan and Megan joined us for the movie, Toy Story 3, Friday afternoon and then they stopped by later to visit on his Harley. As you can see from the contagious smiles all around, the Parker crew was on cloud nine because they got a ride around the block with their newest pal, Jordan! Thanks Megan for sharing your precious time with Jordan with us... the kids can't wait to see him again soon! Thanks Jordan for being so wonderful with all the kids! They adore you... and already miss you! Come back to visit us soon!

Beautiful Bride!

Congratulations Sally and Casey! What a beautiful bride!!!! It was so great to see you on one of the happiest days ever! What a nice reception too. I was so glad I was able to attend! Here's wishing you a lifetime of love, good health, and happiness! Best wishes to you both!

Perfect Pool Weather

On Wednesday we finally took advantage of the nice warm sunny day to go to the outdoor pool for our first time this season. As you can see by the pictures it was packed with others who had the same idea. :) After two weeks of nothing but scattered showers, rain, and thunderstorms, it was a beautiful day to enjoy the outdoors! Kameron, who is NOT pictured above, was off having a great time with his kindergarten friends who were also at the pool, so unfortunately I didn't get any pics of him, but I guarantee he had a GREAT time as well! C'mon Mother Nature PLEASE give us more days like this!

Keiley's First Formal

Here is our darling daughter, Keiley, with her date, Lance, attending their first formal school dance.

Keiley...We still can't get over the fact that you will be off to high school already next year. It seems like only yesterday that we shared our first Christmas together as a family, now you are moving on to ninth grade. You were the cutest, sweetest, most polite, blonde hair, blue eyed three-year-old lil' girl who melted our hearts with your words, expressions, and actions. Now you have grown into a sweet, mature, loving BIG sister to so many brothers and sisters who absolutely adore you. You still melt all of our hearts, but in so many different ways. You surely make us two very proud parents! You look absolutely stunning all dressed up to go to your very first formal. I hope you had a wonderful time, as you only deserve the very best life has to offer you. You're dad and I are so very proud of you! Looks like you had a pretty nice date there too. He brought you flowers even? (Lucky Girl) We Love You Keiley and we'll see you very soon! XOXOXOXOXO's Dad and Tanya

Brother, Zack

Today we had an awesome visit with Adrian's big brother, Zack and family! They came out for a pizza party and an afternoon playdate at our house. We painted, played board games, DS games, and the Wii Fit since it was rainy outdoors! We are looking forward to another great visit again soon! As you can see Zack is just an older looking version of Adrian.... and they get along GREAT too! :)

Music Campers

This week gave our youngest two children a musical adventure that they will never forget. Storytime through music and books, balloons, musical scarves, beanbags, kazoos, instruments, etc. are just some of the activities that Vicki had planned for their hour long session at the school Monday thru Friday! You can see how proud they both were displaying their certificates and kazoos on the last day of camp! YEAH!

House Guests

Wednesday we discovered that our home became home to a Mama Duck and her 10 baby ducks. After removing them from the egress window well and freeing them in the front yard, the babies returned back to their original nests in the backyard window wells. We fed them, gave them water, and freed them again to follow their Mama, but they felt right at home with us, so they spent a couple days with us before finally leaving for a much bigger adventure. It's a good thing too, because our Mommy is definitely NOT a farm girl! The angels visited during the night to carry a couple baby ducks up to heaven, who didn't survive the cool night outdoors without their Mama. :( Great life lesson and learning opportunity for both Mommy and the kids! Mama duck standing guard protecting her babies!
5 little ducks in Jayden's egress window well
1 lonely duck trying to join the rest
The first release in the front yard, only to find that they found there way back to the backyard in just moments after being let free!

Parks and Rec

Today was Picture Day for Parks and Rec T-Ball and Baseball. Hopefully this week brings with it more sunshine and less rain so we can get back out there on the field! One whole week of cancelled practices and games = 3 not very happy kiddos!

Safety Town

Here I am with my Safety Town teacher, Mrs. Baumgarten. She had lots of fun lessons planned to teach us all about Safety, but my favorite one was Bike Safety, and going for a ride on the School Bus!
Here I am at my Safety Town graduation where I am demonstrating our newest motto that we learned for crossing the street, and the railroad tracks! Stop! Look! Listen! and LIVE!

Today was my lucky day! Mrs. Baumgarten drew my name out as a winner of one of the six bikes they gave away! Thanks Mrs. Baumgarten! I LOVE IT!

(I can even ride it by myself already too! )
What a great couple days at BIG school learning about safety, and spending time with my good friends too. I can't wait til August when I can to to Kindergarten ALL DAY/ EVERY DAY! Until then, I will just enjoy summer and practice being safe by using the skills I learned this week at Safety Town! It is a good thing that learning is so much fun!

Love, Jayden

Surprise!

Megan surprised Kierra with a new look for her room since big brothers and big sister recently had their rooms painted/redone. She loved it... which you can tell by her perma-smile!
Thanks again Megan! You should really start a business designing kids' rooms! We are ever so thankful for ALL that you do for us! You are the BEST! Love ya!

Birthday Boy

Our Birthday Boy turned 7 this year! Where does time go? Anyways.... we celebrated Pirate style a couple weeks back, but still made it a special day with presents, donuts, and cupcakes. It doesn't get much better than that! We Love You Kameron! XOXOXOXOXOXO's
