Happy Birthday Johnny Appleseed!

Finally!

The rain stayed away just long enough so that our roof crew could finish up our new roof this past weekend. Although I wasn't so sure about green shingles at first, I think I like the finished product! I'm just glad it's finally done!

Just Because

I am blogging this picture JUST BECAUSE it is one I took this morning when Jack was in an extremely happy mood. (I bet it was because it was Saturday, AND he got to have hot blueberry pancakes for breakfast instead of cereal with milk) ?!?! (If you look closely, you will even see the syrup drips as evidence) I think it's one of my all time favorite pics of him!

Playdate with Carter

Here we are with our baby brother, Carter (15 months) and his adoptive mommy, Bobbie. They came over for a play date today before we were off to gymnastics. We had such a fun time talking, playing, and giving high fives that we plan on getting together again with him really soon!

Happy B-Day Josephine!

Happy 8th B-Day Josephine! We had a great time at your outdoor "Movie Theatre" party. The popcorn/concession stand complete with tickets was a hit among ALL the kids! I think we are all still on a sugar high from all the goodies! :) What a fun way to celebrate your special day! I hope you enjoy reading your Magic Tree House Books we bought you! We love you, Josie!

We are very proud of our lil' first grader who was just selected as the September Student of the Month. Way to Go, Adrian!

NEW Sunday School Kids

Jayden and Jaxon were recognized as "Keeping the Promise" to attend church school. Today was their first day of Sunday School and minus a couple tears at first, they LOVED it! Kierra didn't understand why she couldn't go along, but settled right in at coffee hour between G'ma and Papa with her cookies, while Mommy and Daddy served coffee. Wow how the kids are growing up much too quickly!

Kameron had a GREAT first day of preschool. He was so excited, and I think a little nervous too. I think overall, the day was harder on Mommy and Daddy than on Kameron! Our lil' boy is off to school! :)

Labor Day Weekend at Leaf Lake

We had a great time at the lake this weekend with our friends, the Ebertowski's. We enjoyed boating, fishing, tubing, finding shells, and of course swimming with our friends, Josie, Olivia, and Gretta. Laura and Jeff... we just love your new pontoon! We already can't wait until next summer! Thanks for the invite... and the wonderful time! It looked like even Mommy and Daddy had a great time too!
