Daddy took us for a first hand look at all different types of seafood at Joe Patti's fish market in downtown Pensacola. We got to see and touch live lobsters, a crab, a baby octopus, and see a variety of different fishes including tuna, salmon, and even shark meat. Daddy even bought us two live lobsters to try along with his favorites that we smoked and sampled last night at his friend Jay's house. We even had a good old southern outdoor shrimp boil, complete with some pretty spicy jumbalaya on the side. This southern cooking wasn't bad, but would certainly take some getting used to, especially for kids who only know what fish sticks and shrimp poppers are. One thing for sure is that if we lived down here we would have to have plenty of cereal on hand as a stand by meal. :)
