Oh... Lazy Days!

On Tuesday morning I woke up not feeling well at all. I must have caught the stomach flu that's been going around, and boy was I miserable. Mommy stayed home with me for two days and took very good care of me. She even made me chicken noodle soup (which I didn't even take a bite of) and let me drink bubbly water (which I loved). As you can see, I didn't mind napping at all when I was supposed to, or lying on the couch watching all sorts of my favorite Christmas movies. Even my favorite fans, Cassie and Tinkerbell, acted sick right along with me. They were happy to see me come around the second afternoon home when mommy decided to have a Play-Doh party in our PJs'! I miraculously felt much better after that!

Snow Much Fun!

Boy were the kids excited to see it snowing after school today!!! They insisted on helping me with the snow removal, as the flakes continued to fall. That was everyone, except Jack... he was too freezing cold to stay outside for very long at all. Although it was light and fluffy snow, and there wasn't much accumulation... the other kids sure had "snow" much fun shoveling, pulling each other in their sleds, and oh yes, making snow angels right down to the grass! Whenever I question WHY I put up with ND winters, the kids' excitement and smiley faces are all I really need to remind myself, THAT is the reason!

K-2 Christmas Program

Our first grader performed in his second Elemenatary School Christmas Program last evening, and boy did he look sharp! He was so proud of all his songs, and has been singing them around the house for weeks now, but put them with the actions and WOW! Even his lil' brothers and sisters attended, and were amazed at how "GREAT" their big brother did. Adrian has always had a true love for music, and it definately showed last night!

Bobcat Badge

Well, our new lil' Tiger Cub just earned his Bobcat Badge and boy is he proud! This is Adrian's first year in Boy Scouts and just loves being a Tiger Cub. In fact today I finally was a "cool" mom, and let him proudly wear his uniform to school. I still can't believe my lil' Adrian is 7!

Just For Kix

Holiday Lights Parade

Here are some pictures from our visit with Santa.... the kids had a great time, and I believe I can mark it down as the first year that NOBODY cried! Also... Jaxon has finally started to refer to him as Santa Claus now, instead of "Ho Ho Man", which he came up with completely on his own!
