Five Already ?!?!

Wow! How time flies! Crazy to believe that our little boy is already five! We had such a wonderful backyard birthday party with family and friends here to celebrate with us on Sunday. The weather was beautiful, but because it had been so cool prior to the party the big pool didn't have a chance to warm up. The kids were thrilled to splash around in the little pool filled with water balloons, and slide down the new slip-and-slide to cool off instead!

Tonite after making the best of his gloomy and rainy "real" b-day, he came up to me, hugged me and said, "Mommy, Thank You for making my birthday soooo special!" What a sweet boy he is! I didn't realize going out for pizza for lunch, taking big brother to the dentist, and making dinner complete with a Schwan's ice cream cake was so special, but in his eyes it was his best b-day ever. (F.Y.I Kameron wants everyone to know that he picked out the horse cake all by himself. )



Can you see the biggest kid of them all in the above picture? You're right... it's grandpa!
